It's easy to uninstall and reinstall the app. You might like to do this if your app isn't working properly.

iPhone users: 

  • Uninstall the app by pressing and holding down your finger on the 'By Miles' icon on your home screen or in the menu until it starts to shake

  • Tap the 'X' in the grey circle in the top left corner

  • To reinstall, go to the App Store

  • Search for 'By Miles'

  • Tap 'Get' 

Android users:

  • Log out of the app

  • Uninstall the app by going to Settings

  • Tap on 'Apps' or 'Application Manager' (this may differ depending on your device)

  • Find and tap on 'By Miles' in the list 

  • Now tap on 'Force stop' button (if the Force Stop permission screen appears then tap on 'OK')

  • After Force Stopping the app, tap on the 'Clear data' button - sometimes this is towards the bottom of the screen (then tap on 'OK' if it asks to confirm)

  • Now tap on the 'Uninstall' Button to uninstall the app (and again if it asks any permission tap on 'OK' to confirm)

  • To reinstall, go to the Google Play Store

  • Search for 'By Miles'

  • Tap 'Install' 

You will need to log back in with your email address and password after reinstalling.
