When you get a quote with us, we do need to know if you've received any driving convictions within the last five years.

You should always check what type of conviction you have on your license and how many points you received (if any). Here's a list of the most common driving convictions and their corresponding codes.

  • CU40       Using a vehicle with faulty steering

  • CU50       Causing danger through the amount of load or passengers

  • CU80       Using a mobile phone while driving
