The Direct Line brand are refunding some customers due to errors in adjusting their prices following the General Insurance measures that came in January 2022.
There’s a few things to understand there.
The Direct Line Group contains a number of brands that act with different levels of independence. We’re really glad to be part of that group - and to be able to use its resources to benefit our members. But that said, we’re still very much doing our own thing.
This pricing issue only affected one brand in the group, Direct Line itself. The other brands (such as ourselves, Churchill, Privilege and Green Flag) haven’t had any issues.
It’s also worth noting that the General Insurance measures came in well before By Miles joined The Direct Line Group.
