Firstly, with us, people often end up paying less than their quote. If you drive less than the estimated miles your quote is based on, you’ll pay less. We’ve recently adjusted our pricing model to push that a little further. Now less of your cost is fixed, and more is shifted on to the per-mile rate. That means every single mile you drive under your estimate is saving you a bigger proportion of your quote than it did before.
Whether you drive less is obviously down to you - but overall the recent trend we’ve seen in the UK is that mileage has been decreasing quite dramatically. So there’s a good chance you’re one of the millions and millions of people who are leaving the car parked a bit more often.
