Important information about By Miles.

We're no longer offering quotes for new customers. If you already have a valid quote from us, you can still retrieve it and buy a policy.

If you’re already a By Miles member, don’t worry – your existing insurance policy is still valid and you’re covered until your policy ends. Until then, you’ll be able to get in touch, manage your policy and use our mobile app or web dashboard as normal.

We will continue to offer new renewal quotes to existing customers until 6th January 2026.

Why have I been sent a cable with my Miles Tracker?

We’ve sent you an extension cable as it may make it easier to plug the Miles Tracker into the OBD-II socket on your particular model of car. 

If you don’t have an extension cable but could use one, let us know and we’ll send you one. The quickest way to do that is via chat in the app, but you can also email or call.  

When plugging in your Miles Tracker using the extension cable, please stick the adhesive pads to the inside edge of the Miles Tracker plug (on the logo-side of the Miles Tracker). This is so you can see and access the IMEI information if you need it.
