If you’re already a By Miles member, don’t worry – your existing insurance policy is still valid and you’re covered until your policy ends. Until then, you’ll be able to get in touch, manage your policy and use our mobile app or web dashboard as normal.
We will continue to offer new renewal quotes to existing customers until 6th January 2026.
In some circumstances, you may be offered the chance to keep your vehicle after a total loss.
If you choose to do so and your vehicle is in storage, you’ll need to collect it after your settlement figure has been paid or your insurer asks you to collect it.
If you don’t pick up your vehicle within a certain timeframe, you may be charged. You’ll be responsible for paying these charges before you can collect your vehicle.
