Important information about By Miles.

We're no longer offering quotes for new customers. If you already have a valid quote from us, you can still retrieve it and buy a policy.

If you’re already a By Miles member, don’t worry – your existing insurance policy is still valid and you’re covered until your policy ends. Until then, you’ll be able to get in touch, manage your policy and use our mobile app or web dashboard as normal.

We will continue to offer new renewal quotes to existing customers until 6th January 2026.

My Miles Tracker doesn't sit tight in the OBD-II socket. What should I do?

Not all car manufacturers designed their OBD-II sockets (also known as OBD ports) to the same specifications. If your tracker isn’t fitting snuggly, we can help. 

We can send you an extension cable or some adhesive pads to stick to the inside edge of the Miles Tracker plug. When these arrive, please ensure the velcro pad is stuck to the logo-side of the Miles Tracker. This is so you can see and access the IMEI in the case you need it.
