You’ll get the exact same cover shown in your Policy Schedule while you’re abroad in any European Union country, as well as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Andorra*, for up to 90 days in any one 12-month period. After that, you’ll only get the minimum compulsory insurance as required by EU law.
While you’re abroad, we can’t provide temporary replacement cars, and any repairs made outside the UK aren’t guaranteed.
If you need to make a claim in any of the above countries, you may be charged foreign customs duty. But don’t worry - the insurer will refund it as part of the claim.
