When you get a quote with us, we do need to know if you've received any driving convictions within the last five years.
You should always check what type of conviction you have on your license and how many points you received (if any). Here's a list of the most common driving convictions and their corresponding codes.
CU codes are for convictions to do with the makeup of the car and the use of the car:

CU10 Using a vehicle with faulty brakes

CU20 Causing danger by using a vehicle that's unsuitable or in a dangerous condition

CU30 Using a vehicle with a damaged tyre

CU40 Using a vehicle with faulty steering

CU50 Causing danger through the amount of load or passengers

CU80 Using a mobile phone while driving
IN codes are for convictions related to your insurance (hopefully we can make sure you never get this one!):

IN10 Using a vehicle uninsured against third party risks
SP codes are for convictions related to speeding:

SP10 Exceeding goods vehicle speed limits

SP20 Exceeding speed limit for type of vehicle (excluding goods or passenger vehicles)

SP30 Exceeding the legal speed limit on a public road

SP40 Exceeding passenger vehicle speed limit
