We're no longer offering quotes for new customers. If you already have a valid quote from us, you can still retrieve it and buy a policy.

If you’re already a By Miles member, don’t worry – your existing insurance policy is still valid and you’re covered until your policy ends. Until then, you’ll be able to get in touch, manage your policy and use our mobile app or web dashboard as normal.

We will continue to offer new renewal quotes to existing customers until 6th January 2026.

What anti theft device should I use against keyless theft?

You should always ensure your car's properly locked, and keep your keys far away from doors and windows.

It's worth considering buying an 'RFID' blocking pouch (also known as a faraday pouch) for your keys, which should block any signals thieves might be using to unlock your car remotely.

Security devices such as a steering wheel lock, driveway parking post, or wheel clamp can also help to deter thieves. They wouldn't be able to drive off straight away even if they did unlock your car, and it'd create a lot more hassle for them!

Lastly, if all else fails, you can use the 'Find My Car' feature in our mobile app.
