Please provide as much information as you can. It’s important that you call us as soon as possible, ideally within the first 24 hours after the incident.
Providing the following information can really help your claim run smoothly:
- Registration numbers of any other vehicles involved.
- Details of everyone involved (including drivers, passengers and witnesses). You'll need their full names, phone numbers, addresses, and - in the case of the other drivers - their insurance details.
- Details on any injuries of anyone involved in the incident.
- Photos of the position of each vehicle and any areas that have been damaged.
- Dashcam footage.
These may be requested during the claims handling process and are always good to have.
Depending on the type of incident, Auxillis may offer to handle your claim or forward it to the insurer on your policy (you can find more details on your insurer in your Policy Schedule).
