If you have an accident in the United Kingdom and your car is un-driveable, we’ll arrange for someone to pick it up from the scene.
Once your car is ready to go in for repairs, subject to availability, a courtesy car will be provided by the approved repairer whilst your car is being fixed. You and any named drivers on your policy will be insured to drive the courtesy car while yours is being repaired.
Cover for the courtesy car will be provided under your By Miles comprehensive car insurance policy and will be subject to the same terms and conditions that apply to your car.
Courtesy cars are not available abroad and they can only be used in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
If you use a Miles Tracker, you don't need to plug it into the courtesy car (those miles are on us).
Courtesy cars aren't intended to be an exact replacement of your car. They're usually small hatchbacks. (Although, if yours is a non-fault claim, larger cars may be available in some cases).
Please note, courtesy cars aren't offered in the case of a total loss or the theft of your car.
