Important information about By Miles.

We're no longer offering quotes for new customers. If you already have a valid quote from us, you can still retrieve it and buy a policy.

If you’re already a By Miles member, don’t worry – your existing insurance policy is still valid and you’re covered until your policy ends. Until then, you’ll be able to get in touch, manage your policy and use our mobile app or web dashboard as normal.

We will continue to offer new renewal quotes to existing customers until 6th January 2026.

Can connecting my car to my By Miles account affect the car's electronics?

When you connect your car to your account, we take daily mileometer readings directly from your car’s manufacturer. It’s data that’s being sent to your car’s manufacturer already - you’re just giving them permission to share it with us so we can charge you a fair price for car insurance. 

Nothing we do to communicate with them will affect your car’s electronics.
