If you have a connect policy, you can do this by heading to your By Miles app and logging in.
Just follow the steps on the screen. It only takes a few moments. To help you along the way, here are the steps that will appear:
Step 1: Let’s get going.
Get started with your new By Miles policy.
Step 2: Verify your number.
Please verify your mobile number by entering the 4 digit code we’ve sent you.
Step 3: How do we use your data?
We’ll use your data to get a daily mileometer reading. Please read our privacy notice for more information.
Step 4: Connect your car.
Hit the ‘I’m ready’ button to start connecting your car.
Step 5: Log in to Volvo account
Next, enter the login details for your Volvo ID account.
Step 6: You’re done.
Nice one. Your policy is now active, and we’ll receive daily updates on your mileage. (If you’re still waiting to see this screen, hang tight. It may take a few seconds for the connection to activate.)
Step 7: Set up daily mileage notifications.
Saving feels better when you can see it happening. Tap ‘Turn on Notifications’ if you’d like daily updates on the cost of your journeys. If you don’t want to do this now, tap ‘Not now’ and set up notifications from the ‘Account’ section of your By Miles app later.
